Buccaneer beach - a saturday morning walk ... but the Bald Eagles didn't show up, so we went shopping

 Usually Bald Eagles can be spotted quite easily on this stretch of beach - they nest in the trees on the fringe and feed on particular species of fish in the adjacent waters ... unfortunately they weren't in evidence today

 Chrome Island (with lighthouse) off the southern end of Denman Island - we'll be sailing around it in a few days' time :)

 Stopping to pick up some fresh supplies - they keep the veg fresher longer by spraying with fresh water at regular intervals 

 Cactus Leaves! ... don't know (yet) how they prepare those? ... and some nice beefy horseradish next door.

 We call it Pak Choy, they call it Bok Choy

 Cilantro - haven't come across this one before either!

Somewhere in downtown Courtenay - just up the road from us in Royston
